FG To Pay Jobless Youths in These 8 States N20,000 Monthly For Doing These Things


I have come with another interesting news for you this morning, Federal Government of Nigeria have decided to reduce the rate of Unemployment in Nigeria with a new scheme for jobless youths in the Country. In this scheme, Jobless youth will be paid N20,000 monthly. 


In the Title of this post i made you to understand that there are some things you have to do for you to get N20,000 monthly from Federal Government (President Muhammadu Buhari) . Is not like the Covid-19 disbursed fund Nigerians just got free. 




This one, there are some works you have to do to get the money. You may be wondering "WHAT COULD THAT BE" Don't worry before the end of this post, you will know what it is. Let me give you a piece about it. It's Not A Hard Job

The N20,000 will not be for all Jobless youth in the country, Federal Government stated that out of each local government in some selected states only 1000 citizens will be taken for a given duration of 3 months. 

For instance, in Adamawa 1000 Youths will be taken, in Borno 1000 Youths will be taken etc. 

Federal Government in a statement revealed that selected states are Adamawa, Borno, Ebonyi, Edo, Ekiti, Jigawa, Katsina and Kwara. 

Now let's talk about works to be done. The youths will be engaged in the clearing of drainages, sweeping markets, road maintenance, traffic control, and cleaning of public infrastructures like health centres and schools.



- The Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Mr Festus Keyamo (SAN), said this at a news conference on Thursday.

- Keyamo said the scheme targeted 1,000 youths each from the 774 local governments across the country.

- The minister said the programme is one of the biggest social intervention schemes to be carried out within a short period of time by any government in the history of Nigeria.
