Reports Says Suspended EFCC Boss Gave Vice-President Osinbajo N40bilion, This is What Osinbajo is Saying





Recent reports has it that the Vice president of Federal Republic of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo was given 4 billion Naira by the former or suspended acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Commission, in abbreviation - EFCC.

Reports also claimed that Osinbajo also allegedly gave instructions to Magu to release some of the recovered loots.

The Vice president has given his statement on the matter through the statement issued by Laolu Akande, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Office of the Vice President. 

The statement explained that Osinbajo has never been involved in such shady activities thereby revealing that the news to a fake. 

Below is what Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo said:

“Inundated by wide circulation of Fake News about VP’s purported involvement in some EFCC recovery billions, please rest assured they’re all LIES: calculated to confuse and concocted to smear Prof. Osinbajo’s image.

“The VP hasn’t and will never be involved in any such shady activities.”
