After SPAR Store Was Looted, See What the Supermarket Posted That Made Nigerians Vows To Patronize

Nigerians Vow To Patronize "SPAR" After The Supermarket Did This Despite Being Looted

Nigerians across the country have shown empathy and pity to the plight of SPAR supermarket following the emotional statement from the supermarket via its verified social media handle.

It would be recalled that a day ago, angry hoodlums and mobs had allegedly invaded the supermarket while carting away most of the goods located within its walls.

From pictures shared online, it was clearly seen how the glass walls of the supermarket building was broken and everything was laid in rumbles.

The store made this known yesterday notifying the public that their store in Lekki had been vandalized. However, while a lot of Nigerians had initially thought the store would do everything to bring everyone responsible to book, it came as a surprise to see that instead, the supermarket chooses to stand by Nigerian in their struggle.

The store wrote "Our Lekki store has been vandalized and looted. But, we acknowledge that this is only a setback compared to the larger issues we are all facing as a nation, and our thoughts and prayers remain with Nigerians everywhere, and for a peaceful resolution to various issues at hand."

Today however, the store went ahead to share pictures of the remains of the supermarket while showing solidarity for the Nigerian struggles.

The store wrote while attaching a picture to it "Rebuilding a supermarket is hard. Rebuilding a nation is even harder. We stand with you Nigeria. Stay focused. Be the solution."

This statement no doubt made a lot of Nigerians emotional and many went on to say that they will be patronizing the store henceforth. Here are some of the reactions from Nigerians.
