Paracetamol is highly acidic and lethal to the health. NDLEA has released several warning against the use of the tablet in cooking as it could cause kidney and liver failure when the chemicals used in producing the drugs are over heats.

2. Potash:

Potash includes various mined and manufactured salts that contain potassium in water-. The name derives from pot ash, which refers to plant ashes or wood ash soaked in water in a pot, which was the primary means of manufacturing the product before the Industrial Era.

Many individuals are using potash to boil the skin of cow popularly known as "kpormor" as they believed it helps in making it softer and easier to cook, some do use it to cook okra as it helps in making it more slippery when used in cooking.

Potash is highly acidic and lethal to the health. The use of potash in cooking can cause alot of troubles in the stomach which includes ulcer and various kinds of kidney problems due to the chemicals used in the production of potash.
