Instead Of Eba or Fufu, Here Are 4 Swallow Options To Prevent Big Tummy


 


Eating swallow and any kind of soup is regular in our country Nigeria. A lot of people eat eba, fufu, pounded yam, amala and so on. Don't forget that most of these foods tend to increase your tummy size when eaten frequently. However, we just can't stay away from eating soup and swallow because we get our strength from it. What then can we use as an alternative.

The purpose of this article is to introduce you to other swallow options. These swallow options are also light and won't give you a big tummy. For those of us that cherish our flat tummy but still want to eat good food, this article is for you. Let's get straight to the point. Here are the swallow options:

1. Oatmeal



This is very easy to make. You can easily buy our regular Quaker oats and make it with a blender. Pour it into a blender and mix.

Pour out into a bowl and mix with hot water. Stir it the way you make eba.

Keep stirring and it's ready! Eat with any soup of your choice.



2. Pounded Plantain


You can either use ripe or unripe plantain for this recipe. Peel the plantain and cut into small pieces. Boil and pound till smooth.



3. Wheat


Wheat is quite easy to prepare. Add into boiling water and stir until completely done. You can get wheat powder from the market. Check in stalls where flour is sold.



4. Cabbage Swallow



You need just two ingredients to prepare this which are cabbage and psyllium husks powder.

Look at the pictures below and observe them carefully:

Cut the cabbage and boil in a pot. Put in another bowl and mix very well. Add the psyllium husks powder and mix again. Wrap it and allow it to happen. You can now eat with any soup of your choice.
