Sanwo-Olu: "Please Don't Protest Today, The Death in Surulere Yesterday Touched Me"



Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has appealed to protesters in the State to calm down as he made a move to calm the situation. 

KINGSPARO.COM reports that Sanwo-Olu said the death of 55-year-old Ikechukwu Ilohamauzo in Surulere affected him and appealed to the crowd not to march today because the government have heard their voices. 

He told them to be calm as he and President Muhammadu Buhari would meet today to discuss their grievances.

He also promised them that all SARS workers who killed or tortured people today would receive their reward in court.

He said he was holding back the protesters because they were angry.

Sanwo-Olu promised to release all those detained by the police during the protest which he has done.
